Avon, Connecticut is a small town in the Hartford County, located on the Farmington River’s east side. Avon is home to some of the best schools in the region. The public school system consists of five elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school. All of these public schools are highly acclaimed and have achieved consistently high ratings from both local and state education departments.
