Chautauqua, KS Schools

Chautauqua, KS is a small rural town in Kansas located about an hour and a half east of Wichita. The schools in this area consist of two public primary schools and one private Christian school. All three of these schools maintain high ratings as rated by Great Schools, an organization that provides independent ratings of K-12 schools across the country. The public primary schools, Chautauqua Elementary and Chautauqua Middle School, provide a variety of educational opportunities for students from kindergarten to eighth grade. These include core subject areas such as English, Math, Science, and Social Studies as well as enrichment activities like music and art classes. The private school in the area is Southside Christian Academy which provides quality education from pre-school through eighth grade with an emphasis on faith based learning. All three schools strive to provide a safe learning environment for every student as well as support parents through their child's educational journey.
