Lorain, Minnesota is a small town with a population of just over 600 people. Despite its size, the town boasts an impressive array of educational opportunities for its residents. Lorain Public Schools provide excellent educational services to the community and have earned an exemplary rating from the Minnesota Department of Education. The district consists of three local schools; a K-2 elementary school, a 3-6 elementary school and a 7-12 secondary school. Each school offers an innovative curriculum that meets the needs of every student, providing comprehensive academic, athletic, and extracurricular activities that work towards the common goal of educating our youth in Lorain. The staff is dedicated to helping students reach their full potential and prepare them for success in college or technical careers after high school graduation. The supportive environment provided by Lorain Public Schools allows all students to succeed and make positive contributions to their communities.
