Summit, NJ is a small town located in Union County. It has an excellent school system, with several highly rated schools that serve the community. The local elementary school, Jefferson Elementary School, is ranked as one of the top public schools in the state of New Jersey. Summit High School provides its students with a well-rounded education and has been consistently ranking among the best high schools in the state. Middle schoolers have a choice between Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School and Wilson Middle School, both of which provide quality education and extracurricular activities to their students. All three of these schools are part of the Summit Public Schools district and work together to ensure that Summit's children receive a top-notch education.
