Halls, North Carolina is a small town with a population of approximately 8,000 people. The local public schools are part of the Lenoir County Public Schools system and include four elementary schools (Grantham Elementary School, Northwest Elementary School, Pink Hill Elementary School and Southwood Elementary School), two middle schools (E. B. Frink Middle School and Woodington Middle School) and one high school (South Lenoir High School). All of these schools have been recognized for their academic excellence and have earned an excellent rating from the state. The district has invested heavily in its educational infrastructure by providing students with up-to-date technology and resources that allow them to learn at their highest potential. Additionally, teachers are well-trained and equipped to provide a quality education for all children in Halls.
