Buffalo, North Dakota is a small rural community that is home to two public schools: Buffalo High School and Valley City Elementary School. With a current enrollment of approximately 550 students, the district focuses on providing an excellent education for all its students. Buffalo High School offers a wide variety of classes from Advanced Placement courses to Career and Technical Education programs. The school also has an excellent rating from the state board of education. Along with these academic opportunities, Buffalo High School also provides extracurricular activities such as clubs, sports teams, and band programs for students to get involved in. Valley City Elementary School offers an engaging learning environment with dedicated teachers focused on students' individual needs.
