Hyder, AK is a small rural community located on the Alaskan panhandle that has an estimated population of 96 people. Despite its size, there is still public transportation available in Hyder for residents and visitors alike. Last there in 2008. Friendly people. Great fudge and T-shirt place just inside U.S. border. Paved road ended at U.S. /Canada border. Old bus housed fish restaurant for  More
