Red Devil, AK is a small, remote town situated on the Kuskokwim River in western Alaska. With its population of just over 50 people, Red Devil is a small but vibrant community. Despite its remoteness, there are a number of transportation options available to the citizens of Red Devil.
The most common form of transportation is by boat, as the Kuskokwim River provides easy access to both nearby villages and the larger cities in Alaska. Additionally, many residents have their own personal boats which they use for leisure or travel in and around Red Devil or farther down river. For those who do not wish to take a boat or lack the resources to do so, there are occasional flights from Red Devil airport to nearby towns throughout the summer months when weather permits. Finally, during winter months when snow and ice cover much of the area, some residents choose to snowmachine or dog sled for transportation needs.
Overall, despite its remote location Red Devil has multiple options for transportation that suits each individual’s needs whether it be traveling within town or out of it.
