Galatia, KS is a small town in the south-central part of the state, with a population of just over 500 people. As such, public transportation options are limited in this area. There are two bus systems that serve Galatia: the Southeast Kansas Public Transit System (SEKPT) and the Kiowa County Bus System. The SEKPT provides service to cities in nearby counties, while the Kiowa County Bus System serves only Galatia and its surrounding communities. There are also several taxi companies that provide transportation services throughout the county. Additionally, there is an airport located near Galatia as well as local shuttles operated by businesses and organizations throughout town. With these options, residents of Galatia can easily access other parts of Kansas or travel to nearby states for leisure or business trips.
