Elk, MO is an unincorporated community in St. Louis County and has no population to speak of. However, this area does have some convenient transportation options available to residents and visitors alike. The most popular option is the MetroLink, which is a light rail system that connects many of the larger cities and communities in the St. Louis area, including Elk. The MetroLink provides convenient access to places such as downtown St. Louis, Clayton, University City, Brentwood and Lambert International Airport. There are also several bus lines that connect Elk with St. Louis County and other nearby cities and townships, making it easy for residents to get around without the need for a car or other personal vehicle. Additionally, there are bike lanes on some of the main roads that make cycling a viable transportation option.
