Rincon, NM Commuting

Rincon, New Mexico is a charming small town located in the state’s north-east corner. It offers its residents the peace and quiet of rural life, while still providing a comfortable level of amenities for everyday life. Public transportation options in Rincon are limited to private car ownership, however there are several transportation services available in the area. Taxis and ride share services such as Uber or Lyft are available to those who would prefer not to drive. For longer journeys, Amtrak has two trains servicing the area, the Southwest Chief which runs between Los Angeles and Chicago, and the Sunset Limited from New Orleans to Los Angeles. For domestic travel out of state, nearby airports include Bloomfield Airport (E64) and Farmington Regional Airport (FMN), both located within an hour’s drive from Rincon. Despite having few public transportation options, Rincon offers its residents plenty of ways to get around town or out of town when necessary.
