SUNY Oswego in New York provides a variety of transportation options for its students, faculty, and staff. The most popular form of transportation is the campus shuttle which is a free service that runs Monday through Friday during the fall and spring semesters. The campus shuttle takes passengers to and from different locations on campus as well as to off-campus destinations within the Oswego area. In addition, students can also take advantage of the ride-share program offered through Zipcar which includes discounts on car rentals. Students may also choose to bike around town or get around using their own vehicles or carpool with classmates. Public transportation options in Oswego include CENTRO buses which provide daily routes throughout the city and neighboring communities. SUNY Oswego also offers a discounted bus pass through the Student Association which allows students unlimited rides on CENTRO buses throughout the city for one semester. All these available transportation options make it easy for SUNY Oswego students to get around town while attending college.
