Pinon, New Mexico is a rural town located in rural San Juan County. It is sparsely populated, and as such does not have a lot of public transportation options. However, the local Greyhound bus station provides service to surrounding cities including Farmington and Cortez. Additionally, there are shuttle services that provide shared rides to Albuquerque International Sunport airport as well as other nearby locations. Taxis can be taken from the Pinon area to the nearest major towns like Farmington and Durango. There are also several other ride-sharing services that could be used for local transportation within the town limits.
