Okeechobee, Florida is a small city located in the central portion of the state. It has a population of about 6,000 people and is home to many farms, ranches, and lakeside communities. The city is governed by a mayor and six council members who are elected by the residents of Okeechobee. These members serve four-year terms and determine how best to serve their constituents.
