Taylors Falls, MN is located in Chisago County and is a small city with a population of 656 according to the 2010 census. Even though it is a relatively small town, there are still political activities happening in the region. The local government is run by a mayor and four council members who are elected on an nonpartisan basis every two years. The current mayor is John Stromberg, who was first elected in June 2018. The other four council members include Carla Jugenheimer, Jack Murray, Tom Robinson and Roberta Goebel. They focus on making sure that the residents of the city are taken care of through ensuring adequate services such as water treatment, waste management and improvements to infrastructure.
