La Fayette, AL is a small town in the east central part of Alabama. While the population is not known, the city is governed by a mayor-council system. The current mayor of La Fayette is Cynthia Pickard, who was first elected to her position in November 2020. Alongside her, four council members make up the legislative body of La Fayette.
