Calabasas, California is an affluent city in Los Angeles County located just 30 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles. It is part of the Conejo Valley, a region known for its natural beauty and luxury lifestyle. Politically, the city is part of the 23rd Congressional District which is represented by Democratic Congressman Ted Lieu. Locally, Calabasas residents are represented by City Council members who are elected from the four districts within the city limits. The City Council meets twice a month to discuss policy issues and hear public comment on important topics such as planning, development, traffic safety and public services. R if the Republican Party candidate won, D if the Democratic Party candidate won and I if the Independent Party candidate won.
