Manteca, CA is a small city in the Central Valley of California and as such has a population of around 70,000 people. The city is governed by an elected mayor and four councilmembers who are elected at-large to serve 4 year terms. The current mayor is Steve DeBrum and the current councilmembers are Deborah Romero, Mike Morowit, Jose Nuno and Richard Silverman. All of these political figures have pledged to focus on issues that are important to citizens of Manteca including economic development, education reform, public safety and strengthening community ties. Through the work of these local politicians, Manteca has seen an increase in new businesses being attracted to the area while also continuing to improve their educational system. They have worked hard to make sure that citizens feel safe in their neighborhoods by increasing police presence throughout the city. Furthermore, they have been active in bringing together different groups from all walks of life through various events and programs that promote understanding and acceptance between diverse cultures. By working together with one another, they are helping to create a strong sense of community within Manteca that will help it continue to grow for many years to come.

R if the Republican Party candidate won, D if the Democratic Party candidate won and I if the Independent Party candidate won. The six elections (2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020) would be expressed as six-letter word (R R D R R).

Then we went a little further and added the dimension of magnitude. If the difference of victory was greater than 10 percent, the letter is upper case, and lower case if the difference was less than 10 percent. This allows us to see interesting voting patterns at just a glance.
