Norfolk, Connecticut is a rural town located in Litchfield County. It has a small population of only 1,700 people, making it one of the smallest towns in the state. Despite its small size, Norfolk residents take politics seriously. The town is part of the larger 23rd Congressional District, and several local candidates have run for office in recent years. Most recently, the residents elected a Democrat to represent them in Hartford in the state legislature. The current mayor, Frank Kerr, was re-elected to his third term in 2019 after winning strong support from the community.
