Manasota Key, FL is a small coastal town in Southwestern Florida. It is known for its white sand beaches and tropical climate. Politically, the town is part of Sarasota county and is represented in the Florida Senate by Senator Joe Gruters. The town's representation in the State House of Representatives is split between District 71 (Representative Will Robinson) and District 72 (Representative Margaret Good).
