Palatka, FL is a city located in Putnam County, on the banks of the beautiful St. Johns River. Like many other Florida cities, Palatka is governed by a city commission consisting of five members, each elected for a four-year term. The current mayor is Terrill Hill and he has been in office since 2017. The commission meets regularly to discuss matters related to the budget and other important decision making needs of the city such as infrastructure projects or new ordinances. The Commission also works together with local residents to ensure that the city remains vibrant and prosperous while providing its residents with an excellent quality of life.
