Langleyville, Illinois is a small town with a population of just under 5,000 people. It is located in the heart of Macon County and has an active local politics scene. The town is represented by two city council members and a mayor, all of whom are elected to their positions every four years. Local elections are held on the first Tuesday in November of each year.
