Loves Park, IL is a small city located in the northern part of Illinois. It has been known for its friendly atmosphere and commitment to community activities and events. Although it is not a major political center, the city does have a mayor-council form of government. The current mayor is Greg Jury and the City Council consists of six members who are elected every two years by the citizens of Loves Park. The council meets regularly to discuss and vote on various topics such as financial planning, zoning ordinances, and other city policies. They also hold public hearings on matters that affect citizens' lives and neighborhoods. As a result, Loves Park residents have an important say in how their local government runs. In addition to this, the city holds elections for school board members who manage the education system in Loves Park and decide educational policy for the entire district.

R if the Republican Party candidate won, D if the Democratic Party candidate won and I if the Independent Party candidate won.
