Rosemont, IL is a small village located just outside of Chicago and is home to many bustling businesses. The village has a mayor and six-member village board which serves as the legislative branch of the local government. The mayor and board pass laws and make decisions that affect the citizens of Rosemont. The current mayor, Brad Stephens, was elected in 2013 and has been reelected twice since then. The Village Board includes Trustee Michael Carangelo, Trustee Ricardo Munoz, Trustee Jeffrey Pawlowicz, Trustee Frank Talarico Jr., Trustee Jennifer Vallys, and Trustee Tom West. All members are elected by the people of Rosemont for four year terms and they make sure that all development is done with regards to safety and quality of life for residents in mind. Rosemont provides services such as police protection and garbage collection among other things which are funded through taxes paid by citizens who live in or own property within the village limits.
