Richmond Township (Nemaha Cnty), KS is a small rural community located in the northeastern corner of Kansas. This area of the state has traditionally been known for its strong conservative values, and this is reflected in its local politics. The Republican Party holds a majority of seats on the township board, while no Democrats have ever held office. The current board consists of five members, all of whom are Republicans. The local political scene is fairly quiet, with most elections passing without much fanfare or interest from the general public.
