The town of Linthicum, Maryland is a small community located in Anne Arundel County. The town has a strong local government with an elected mayor and five-member council that make decisions on behalf of its residents. The current mayor is Mr. John R. \"Jack\" Herbert and the council members are Ms. Pat Albertini, Ms. Lisa M. Brannigan, Mr. Donald Cephas, Mrs. Corinne Eipenberger and Mr. Russ Knopp, all of whom were elected to serve four-year terms beginning January 2020. Linthicum prides itself on its commitment to open government with opportunities for citizens to get involved in the decision making process at the local level through public forums and meetings held regularly throughout the year. Additionally, residents are encouraged to attend Town Hall meetings that allow them to ask questions and voice their opinions on important issues affecting their lives and community as a whole.
