Dearborn Heights, MI is a small city located in Wayne County and is home to approximately 57,700 residents. It is a diverse community with many cultural and ethnic backgrounds, making it an interesting place to live.
Politically, Dearborn Heights has been represented by several officials over the years. At the state level, the city is currently represented in the Michigan House of Representatives by Abdullah Hammoud and in the Michigan Senate by Jeremy Moss. At the federal level, the city falls under the jurisdiction of Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib for the 13th District of Michigan in the US House of Representatives. The current mayor of Dearborn Heights is Daniel Paletko who was elected in 2017 to serve a four-year term. There are also seven council members who are elected from each district including Dan Centers, Robert Doughty Jr., Brian Meakin, Michael Sareini, Anthony Tague Jr., Ron Wise and Thomas Yack II.
