Antrim, Minnesota is a small town located in the northern part of the state. Politically, it is part of Anoka County and is represented by a few members of the Minnesota House of Representatives from Districts 35A and 35B. The current representatives from these districts are Jerry Newton (DFL) and Mike Freiberg (DFL). At the county level, Antrim is represented by Commissioner Matt Look who was recently re-elected for a fourth term. The city also has several local elections that take place every two years. These elections include those for mayor, two council members, and other positions such as park commissioner or auditor. Most recently in 2019, Mayor Shirley Ketter won her third term as mayor with 65% of the vote while Council Members Craig Johnson and Kris Smith were both re-elected to a second term. With these elected officials in place, Antrim's government continues to work hard to provide its citizens with the best services possible.
