Prosper, MN is a small town with a population of just under 4,000 people. Despite its small size, the town has a vibrant political culture and there are several local politicians who represent the citizens of Prosper. The mayor of Prosper is Mark Cross, and he was elected to office in 2019. There are also five City Council members from different wards throughout Prosper that help make decisions for the community. Most recently, the city council voted to raise taxes in order to improve roads and infrastructure throughout the town.
