Rogers, Minnesota is a small town located in Hennepin County. It is primarily a bedroom community with the main industries being retail and manufacturing. While Rogers does not have its own local government, it is part of the city council of the larger neighboring city of Maple Grove. The city council is responsible for making decisions on various issues affecting Rogers residents such as public safety, economic development, parks and recreation, transportation and infrastructure. The members are elected by the citizens of Maple Grove to serve four-year terms. In recent years, the city council has focused on improving infrastructure and providing more resources to the growing population in Rogers.
