North Kansas City, MO is an independent municipality located on the Missouri side of the Kansas City metropolitan area. It is governed by a mayor and six council members who are elected to serve four-year terms. The current mayor is Don Stielow and the current council members are Karen Flowers, Joe Martin, Kimberly Kussman, Mike Kelly, Jerry Kramer, and Eunice Brown. As part of their duties, the elected officials in North Kansas City work to secure necessary resources for its citizens while also advocating for local projects that will benefit the community.
