Moapa Town, NV is a small town with a population of just over 1,000 people. It is located just north of Las Vegas and is part of Clark County. This small area has been represented in politics by different representatives over the years. Currently, the Moapa Town Board of Trustees is responsible for local governance and their members are elected every four years. Many important decisions made within this community are handled by these trustees, such as zoning regulations and infrastructure improvements. The current board includes six trustees who represent various parts of Moapa Town and its surrounding neighborhoods. The council works together to come up with solutions to improve the area while keeping the needs of citizens in mind. In addition to the Board of Trustees, local political candidates run for office during elections to represent the town at larger levels including state legislature and Congress.
