Goffstown, New Hampshire is a small town located in Hillsborough County. It is a mostly residential community with a population of approximately 17,000 residents. Despite its size, Goffstown has an active political scene that is heavily influenced by the state and local governments. The town is part of the state’s 11th Congressional District and elects a representative to serve in the United States Congress. The town also elects representatives to serve on the Board of Selectmen, School Board, Planning Board, and Budget Committee. These representatives work together to make decisions regarding the best interests of the townspeople.
