Mendham Borough is a small, rural community located in New Jersey. It is known for its rolling hills and open space, as well as its tight-knit community of residents. The town's politics are overseen by the Mendham Borough Council, which consists of six members who are elected by citizens of the town on a four-year basis. Additionally, several committees oversee different areas such as finance, law enforcement, public works, parks and recreation, and library services. All decisions made by these committees must be approved by the council before they can become reality. In addition to the council meetings that occur bi-monthly, there are also special meetings and public hearings that allow citizens to have their voices heard about important matters within the borough. Mendham Borough prides itself on its democratic system and encourages citizens to get involved in local government whenever possible.
