Lake Landing, NC is a small town located in Onslow County in North Carolina. It has a rich history of local politics and community involvement. The current mayor is Jim Walters, who was elected in 2016 and has been a strong advocate for the town's well-being and development. Lake Landing also has a Town Council that meets quarterly to discuss items such as budgeting, policy decisions, infrastructure projects, and other matters related to the town's operations. There are three Town Councilors: Sarah Jenson who was elected in 2020; Michael Smith who was elected in 2018; and Daniel Miller who was elected in 2017.
