Mountain, NC Voting

Mountain, NC is a small town located in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. It has traditionally been an agricultural community, but has seen some growth over the past few years. Politically, Mountain tends to lean conservative with local elections typically going to Republican candidates. This has been the case for many years, though recently there have been efforts to increase voter turnout and engagement from people of all political persuasions.
