Richfield, OH is a small town located in Summit County, Ohio. Politically, the city has been represented by Mayor Robert Walter since 2014 and is currently part of the Ohio House of Representatives' 36th district. The city council consists of five members who are each elected to four-year terms. Richfield is generally considered to be socially progressive and environmentally conscious, having recently passed a law that requires businesses to take steps to reduce their carbon footprint. The city has also taken measures to promote economic development through tax abatement programs and other investment initiatives.
