Moosic, Pennsylvania is a borough located in Lackawanna County, just outside of Scranton. The town is home to a variety of local government and political initiatives. Moosic residents are represented by the entire Lackawanna County Board of Commissioners which sets policy for the county. In addition, there are several elected city-level positions such as mayor, treasurer and council members that are voted on by the citizens of Moosic.
