Ambler, Pennsylvania is a small community located in Montgomery County and is home to approximately 6,500 residents. The town has a strong sense of community with many local businesses and its own library. Politically, the town leans Democratic and has a long history of electing Democratic officials to local offices. Recently, local elections have seen contention from both Democrat and Republican candidates. Residents of Ambler have had the opportunity to participate in primary elections for Mayor and Council seats as well as School Board positions. These races have been competitive with both sides fighting for a seat to represent their respective parties in office. The current Mayor of Ambler is Democrat Jeanne Sorg who was elected in 2017.
