Cass Township, located in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania is a small rural township with a population of just over 700 people. It has been led by a board of five supervisors since the early 1900s and is currently overseen by Township Manager John E. Smith. Politically, the township is divided between Republicans and Democrats. The current Board of Supervisors consists of two Republicans and three Democrats who are committed to representing the interests of their community with transparency and integrity. Local political issues often involve infrastructure improvements or policy revisions that could have an impact on the community’s quality of life and safety. Recent initiatives include a new road paving project, improved water facilities, and additional funding for emergency services.
