Franklin Township in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania is represented by the Susquehanna County Board of Commissioners. The board is composed of three members elected at large from the entire county, with one member representing Franklin Township specifically. Currently, the commissioners are Loretta M. Kennedy, Mary Ann Warren, and Michael A. Giangrieco who were all elected to four-year terms in 2019.
The township is divided into ten voting precincts and each precinct holds local elections for mayor and borough council every two years.
