Pocono Springs, PA is a small town located in the northeastern part of the state. It is primarily a rural area and with a population of about 4,000 people it has a tight-knit community spirit. The town operates on a government level using the Mayor-Council form of government, which consists of an elected Mayor and four Council Members who are responsible for setting policies and representing the citizens of Pocono Springs. Local elections are held every two years for positions on the Town Council and Mayor. While there isn't much in the way of national politics here, residents are still engaged with local issues affecting their community such as education, public safety, infrastructure maintenance, and zoning regulations. The town prides itself on being open to creative solutions to problems that arise while making sure that everyone’s needs are met.
