Upper Mount Bethel, PA is a small rural township in Northampton County, PA. It is governed by a five-member Board of Supervisors as well as a number of committees and boards. All political decisions are made democratically, with all citizens having the right to vote in elections. Currently, the Upper Mount Bethel Supervisors are led by Chairman Richard Dettore and Vice-Chairman Jack Groff. The board meets every month to discuss various issues concerning the town and its inhabitants. In addition, the Township holds several public hearings throughout the year on topics such as zoning and land development regulations.
