Wayne Township in Greene County, Pennsylvania is a small township located in the rural region of the state. It is governed by a board of Supervisors, with three members elected to serve staggered six-year terms. The current Supervisors are Bob Smith, Joe Thompson, and Elizabeth Williams. They are responsible for overseeing the township’s budget and making decisions on various issues affecting its citizens. In addition to these Supervisors, the township also has an appointed tax collector, zoning officer and building inspector who manage or enforce laws related to taxation, zoning regulations and construction permits respectively. All these officials strive to make sure that Wayne Township remains a safe and supportive environment for its residents.
