York Haven, PA is a small borough located on the Susquehanna River in northeastern Pennsylvania. It is home to approximately 900 people and has a long history of small-town politics. The Borough is governed by an elected seven-member Council that makes all decisions regarding local laws and regulations. This Council meets once every two months to discuss current issues facing the community, such as zoning regulations or public works projects, and then vote on any proposed changes. In recent years, community members have become increasingly involved in local politics, attending public meetings and voicing their opinions on various matters. These citizens have also been instrumental in helping elect new members of the Council who they feel will best represent their interests and concerns. As York Haven continues to grow, it looks forward to increased citizen involvement in its political process as well as continued dialogue between elected officials and the community at large.
