The small city of Darrington, WA is a rural community located about 45 miles northeast of Seattle. It has a vibrant and close-knit community, with plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation and exploration. Although Darrington doesn’t have its own mayor or city council, it is part of the Snohomish County Council district that includes the nearby towns of Arlington and Lakewood. The elected officials represent the citizens of Darrington as well as other communities within the county.
