Moundsville, West Virginia is a small town located in Marshall County and is home to just over 4,000 people. The town is represented by a number of elected officials who serve at the local, state, and national levels of government. At the local level, Moundsville residents are served by a mayor-council form of government. The mayor is elected for a four-year term and serves as the executive leader of the community.
