Alvin, WI is a small town located in central Wisconsin that has a population of about 500 people. The town is governed by an elected mayor and five city council members who serve three-year terms. The city council is responsible for setting the annual tax rate and approving the budget; as well as making decisions about zoning, public works, and other municipal matters. Alvin also has representation at the county level with a county supervisor who serves on the county board of supervisors. At the state level, Alvin is represented by two senators and three representatives in Wisconsin’s legislature.
