Kossuth, WI is a small town in the Midwest that is known for its strong sense of community. With a population of roughly 2,500 people, Kossuth residents take pride in their hometown and are fiercely passionate about local politics. The town’s mayor is currently Jim Smith, who has held the position for the past eight years and plans to run again. In addition to the mayor, there are four city council members who each serve two-year terms. Elections are held every two years to allow new candidates to step up and replace those whose terms have expired. Kossuth residents actively participate in these elections and take an active role in shaping their city’s future by voting for the candidates they believe will best represent them. The current council members are Trish Wilson, Molly Johnson, Mike Walker, and Greg Anderson.
