Barronett, WI is a small town located in central Wisconsin with a population of just over 400 people. The government of Barronett is managed by a local Board of Supervisors which is composed of five elected officials who are responsible for making and enforcing laws that affect the community. Local elections are held every two years to choose new members for the Board. Most recently, in 2020, the election was won by incumbents Don Matson and Cindy Peterson, as well as newcomer George Johnson. All three candidates ran on platforms focusing on improving infrastructure, protecting natural resources, and promoting economic development. Through the efforts of all three board members, Barronett has been able to make great strides in these areas and their citizens have been benefiting from these initiatives.
